Profile
I am an Idaho native, seeming fairly unusual these days; growing up in the beautiful high mountain desert, caring for livestock on the families ranches and traveling around the country with them. I found wonderful things everywhere I went. I tried to bolster a poor memory with sketches and notes. These sketches turned in a hobby, then into a living, and as I took to heart Samuel Clemens quote to make my vocation my vacation. Art and it's many siblings have made my life a joy. That my clients seem to like my work as well is frosting on the cake. My education has been hap-hazard, for I am interested in so many things; fields of study include, besides art, natural history, drama, horticulture and languages and their effect on cultures. When Apple Computer had the good sense to make the Macintosh, I instantly found a fun new friend and a powerful tool for my artistic expression. With my husband, Wes, we have shared our design work and experiences with digital art around the country and other countries world-wide. |
