This class is designed to provide an overview of the history, architecture, and dissemination of information on the web. The class will examine the standards of clarity and efficiency with special emphasis on audience needs and the principles of communication theory via the internet. Students will learn what it takes to make a great web page that both effectively transfers information and is efficiently designed.
While discussing the theoretical, the class will also provide students with hands on experience in creating web pages. Just click on the links to the left to learn more about the class.
